 Carolina Munevar 

Is one of Colombia’s leading para-cyclists. After a life-changing accident, she turned adversity into strength, excelling as a high-performance athlete in both track and road cycling within the C2 category.

She has represented Colombia in three Paralympic Games (Rio 2016, Tokyo 2020, and Paris 2024), becoming the first Colombian female para-cyclist to achieve this and earning multiple Paralympic diplomas.

Her most recent achievements include two bronze medals at the 2024 Track World Championships in Rio de Janeiro, along with numerous international podium finishes that place her among the continent’s best. She was also named Paralympic Athlete of the Year in 2022.

At XCUSAS, we see Daniela as a symbol of resilience and determination, inspiring us to remember that when your purpose is strong and your heart is committed, there are no limits or excuses to achieving greatness.

Her story is truly admirable. Not only for the victories she has achieved, but for the powerful example of courage and perseverance she shares with the world.
